A wooden slicker wheel, these are used to burnish the edges of the leather, to stop any fraying, the wheel is ideal for the edge of belts/straps,as it can be easier just run along the edge, best when used in conjunction with a sealant, many different types are used from just shoe polish, dye or gum tragacanth,as it is the friction of rubbing the edge that seals it.
