French Skirt/Shave are flat backed and used for skiving thicker leathers, when you need to remove thicker amounts to let the leather lay flatter at the edges and reduce the bulk of two layers being stitched together, used on thicker leathers like horse tack and saddles.
Overall length is approx 165mm, shave is approx. 5mm
